Artwork Specifications

Standard coaster size is 95mm square with rounded corners (corner radius is 10mm).

Special arrangements have to be made for 95mm diameter coasters due to the resounding popularity of the square coaster.

We require artwork on CD or 3.5" floppy disk depending on the file size. We will step and duplicate to our die-line.

Please see the file formats below before proceeding with origination. For our Group-Buy Runs we play out A3 positives set at 120 lpi (i.e. 240dpi minimum).

If the design includes a background, a 2.5mm bleed must SURROUND the coaster. Any borders or designs must be placed at least 5mm in from the cut-edge of the coaster on ALL sides.

Either a full colour laser proof or rainbow proof should be supplied with the disk or some other clear reference to colour.

We print to international CMYK standards but slight variance in colour may occur across the run due to the nature of the board.
For Apple Mac and/or PC Operators

We require all file formats to be in either, Freehand, Photoshop , high resolution JPEG or PDF.

All artwork to be prepared at 300 dpi.

Please ensure that all fonts (screen and printer fonts), EPS's (no tiffs) used in documents are available on the disk.
For PC Corel Draw Operators

In respect of colour correction, we require a rainbow proof or chromalin

Please save all your work as process colours.

Files will only be accepted for CorelDraw 10 (convert if using previous versions)

Photographs or scans placed in Corel must be supplied separately as Photoshop 'TIFF'
